Polybridge Ventures LLP supplies DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles) from India to feed mills, compound feed manufacturers, livestock and aquaculture producers, and feed importers. DDGS is the protein- and energy-rich co-product left after grain is fermented for ethanol. Once the starch is used up, the remaining protein, fat and fibre are concentrated in a dry, stable feed ingredient.
Types: corn (maize) DDGS and rice DDGS
Forms: powder or pellets
Packing: 50 kg bags or jumbo bags
Minimum order: 1 full container load (FCL)
Quality: test report available for each lot on request
The values below are from independent laboratory tests on three recent lots, carried out by an ISO 9001 certified lab using FSSAI methods. Corn and rice DDGS from our sources test to the same typical profile. Values vary from lot to lot, so we confirm the analysis for your shipment before dispatch.
Parameter | Typical value | Range across 3 lots |
|---|---|---|
Crude protein | About 29% | 28.6–29.3% |
Crude fat | About 10% | 9.8–10.5% |
Crude fibre | About 8.4% | 8.2–8.6% |
Moisture | About 7.5% | 6.8–8.2% |
Carbohydrate | About 48.8% | 48.8–48.9% |
If you have your own specification, for example a minimum protein or maximum moisture, attach it to your enquiry and we will confirm whether a lot meets it.
Corn (maize) DDGS is golden yellow and is the most widely traded type worldwide. Rice DDGS is made from rice-based distilling and is lighter tan in colour. Both are used as partial replacements for soybean meal and maize in feed formulas, and both are available from us in powder or pellet form. Tell us which type you prefer, or ask for samples of both.
Form | Best for |
|---|---|
Powder (meal) | Feed mills that mix DDGS into mash feed or run their own pellet line |
Pellets | Buyers who want less dust, easier bulk handling and more product per container |
DDGS is used as a protein and energy source in:
Poultry feed: broiler and layer diets
Cattle and dairy feed: as a protein supplement for ruminants
Aquaculture feed: fish and shrimp feed formulations
Other livestock feed: where local rules and the buyer's nutritionist allow
Inclusion rates depend on species, age and the rest of the formula. Your nutritionist should set the level based on the lot analysis.
Pack type | Details |
|---|---|
50 kg bags | Woven PP bags, suitable for manual handling and smaller feed mills |
Jumbo bags | FIBC bulk bags with lifting loops, for faster loading and unloading |
Order size | Minimum 1 full container load (FCL) |
